I did not leave an inch of coffee in my coffee mug when I arrived at work and I did not forget my mug in the car. No, I love to enjoy my coffee on my way to work and always drink all of it. I also did not have any coffee left in my thermos that I thought I would just drink on my way home and when I got to my car, I did not think, "Oh, the cup is cold. I'll just warm it up by the vent so that I can have a warm sip of coffee as I enjoy my ride home." And I most certainly did not tip my cup over right in front of the vent and thus did not pour that inch of coffee right into the vent. And then I most certainly did not hear a big *POP* as the radio went deathly quiet. Now, I have a long drive (over an hour one way) so I did not go crazy in the car without a radio that whole long ride home wondering if I had killed my radio forever.
As we were eating our evening meal I did not tell my 5 year old many times to sit with her behind flat on her chair or she would fall off. And of course she did listen and obey me so she did not tumble off her chair in the funniest slow motion looking, windmill mimicking fall I have ever seen. I did rush over to make sure she did not get hurt. And when I made sure she was ok - I did not laugh and laugh so hard I really almost wet myself, replaying the tumble in my mind over and over as I was hugging her to me. And she most certainly did not get offended that we were all laughing so hard. Because, of course we did not laugh. I would never laugh at something like that! Not me!
...til next time!
